What is a Joy?
A Joy is a chance to learn a new skill. We work to supply lessons and the supplies needed for them. We understand that having a child with a chronic illness can be costly for parents. Our goal is to provide activities that enrich the chronically ill child or teens life, while offsetting the cost for parents. We also work with the family to help them with their basic needs.
Who should apply?
For a Joy granting:
Children and teens whose chronic illness affects their everyday life should apply for a Joy. We want to help those who need joy and purpose in their lives, which have been drastically changed because of their chronic illness. Nominate yourself or a child/teen that you feel desires a Joy.
